基于生态足迹模型的桂林旅游业可持续发展研究

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF TOURISM INDUSTRY BASED ON ECO-FOOTPRINT MODEL IN GUILIN CITY

旅游的可持续发展是旅游研究的重要领域。生态足迹理论以其理论、方法的创新性和实践的可操作性为旅游的可持续发展研究提供了新思路和新方法。基于生态足迹理论,文章从旅游者的消费结构特征出发,将城市旅游生态足迹划分为旅游交通、餐饮、住宿、购物、游览、娱乐6个方面,并对桂林市旅游生态足迹进行了测评。结果表明:2005年桂林市游客的人均旅游生态足迹为0.056 5 hm2/人,人均旅游生态承载力为0.771 9 hm2/人,人均旅游生态赤字达0.021 68 hm2/人,反映出桂林市旅游业处于"不可持续发展状态"。必须采取有效措施,合理利用生态资源,确保旅游业持续发展。

The sustainable development of tourism is an important field to study the tourism.The ecological footprint theory as of innovation in theory and method,and practice,provides a new means to study the sustainable development of tourism.This paper,based on tourists ＇ consumption structures,classifies the ecological footprint of urban tourism into six aspects,transportation,food,accommodation,shopping,touring and entertainment,and evaluates the ecological footprint of tourism in Guilin city with the results indicating that,in Guilin in 2005,the tourism ecological footprint per capital is 0.056 5 hm2,the tourism ecological loading capacity per capital is 0.771 9 hm2,with a tourism ecological deficit per capital up to 0.021 68 hm2,implying an unsustainable development in Guilin ＇s tourism industry.This paper presents some suggestions rationally developing the ecological resources to ensure a sustainable development of tourism industry in Guilin city.
