摘要
本文对莎士比亚十四行诗中"夏天"这一意象的研究表明,季节之夏乃人生之春,其形下之美灿烂而动人,其形上之美乃真善之化身;莎翁巨笔意在使爱人之形美臻于圆满之境,使该美长驻其诗文。
The paper focuses on the image of＂summer＂,and discloses that the summer in the seasons equals to the deep spring of life.It asserts the ＂summer＂ image represents the eternal beauty and signifies a thematic unification of the so-called ＂fairness,kindness and truth＂ as expressed in the 105th sonnet.
