The paper analyses the application of semantic configuration modification methods,and it focus on several major ones.The paper tends to advocate that various semantic configuration modification are popular in Tang poems except for semantic configuration modification on hyperonymy and hyponym,especially in dual and linking verses.Each method lays stress on different aspects,on one hand,it highlights signification functions such as complementation,emphasize,contrast,addition,on the other hand it includes others contextual functions such as variation and cohesion.
