抗日战争进入相持阶段后,太行革命根据地连续发生了危害巨大的自然灾害。根据地党政军各部门团结广大人民群众,经过艰苦卓绝的救灾工作终于克服了困难。抗日战争相持阶段太行革命根据地的救灾工作不仅最大限度地遏制了灾害的蔓延,也为抗日战争的最终胜利做出了历史贡献,同时在救灾过程中中国共产党也积累了宝贵的经验。抗日战争相持阶段太行根据地救灾过程中军民团结的历史传统和英勇无畏的精神气概,对今天的民族复兴大业依然有着重大的借鉴意义。

During the stalemate of the Anti-Japanese war , the Tai-hang base encountered a spate of huge natural disas- ters. For the effort and support from the government and people throughout the country, the base overcomed all the difficul- ties finally. Their disaster relief work not only minimized the spread of the disasters, but also made historical contributions to the victory of the whole anti-Japanese war, and they had gained valuable experience on how to overcome these disasters at the same time. The author believes that the Tai-hang base＇s spirit can still encourage us to achieve our national revival in nowadays.
