“隐秀”美学风格之传译——以海明威《永别了,武器》汉译为例

On the Translation of the Aesthetic Style of Yin and Xiu:With A Farewell to Arms for a Case Study

目前,国内外文学界对海明威的创作风格及其作品的美学内涵有诸多卓有成效的研究,但对其作品汉译研究的个案分析却不多见。笔者以《永别了,武器》为例,阐明海明威的"冰山"原则与刘勰的"隐秀"观在美学效果上有异曲同工之妙。并以"隐秀"风格的传译为视角,通过对大陆和台湾两个汉译本的比较与分析,指出汉译的问题与不足,总结出"隐秀"美学风格的传译对策。

This article is an attempt to analyze Ernest Hemingway＇ s unique literary style in A Farewell to Arms, with a comparative study of Liu Xie＇ s Yin and Xiu literary concept and Hemingway＇ s ＂iceberg＂ principle. The purpose of this case study is to suggest solutions to Chinese translation for translators of literature that is highly characteristic of Yin and Xiu.
