In Delphi, the algorithm principle and the development of the zlib＇compression library were simply introduced. By example, three compression libraries, the ＂zlib＂ that found in Delphi installing cd and the latest ZlibEx and ZlibExGZ, were applied to compress different files, and then the Compression Ratio, the compression time and the decompression time were compared.
