"吕学"博杂,而归宿于圣人,体现了儒学的本质。其治史,出发点在于多识前言往行以畜德,把治史提升到国家民族存亡的高度,言性命者也必究于史,治史也体现生命的延续。所定学规,以孝弟忠信为本,探其学规之渊源与践行,也是体现了儒学之本的深层文化意蕴。吕氏始入于佛而终出于佛在于以儒学融化佛学。

The abundance and richness of the study of Lv goes back to the saints, and this reflects the essence of Confucianism. Its history of governing starts from the principle of learning more from the past in order to gather the moral characters, elevating the history of governing to the level of concerning tho destiny of a country. Whenever people talks about the life, they will inevitably look into the history. It also embodies the continuance of life. Its principles are based on the ＂filial piety, loyalty, trust and faithfulness＂. Their origin and practice also reflect the deep cultural essence of Confucianism. The study of Lv starts from Buddha and ends up with Buddha. It melts Buddhism with Confucianism.
