The Golden Notebook,the masterpiece of the famous British woman writer Doris Lessing,presents the most accurate picture of the situation of women in the 1950s,and in it the multiple selves of contemporary women are rendered in astonishing depth and details.With its particular web structure,combination of traditional and untraditional narration,multidimensional non-linear plot arrangement,Lessing breaks the mold of traditional novel writing,and forms the unique narrative strategies.
