文章结合甘肃地勘局的实际情况，分析了地勘单位面临的主要问题和发展机遇。文章作者对地勘单位思想解放、转换机制、结构调整、存量盘活、增量优化，政策争取。
Abstract The paper analyses facing main problems and developing opportunity of geological prospecting units according to practical situation of Gan Shu provincial bureau of geology and mineral resources. The author also offers constructive suggestions about emancipating the mind, transfering mechanism, adjusting structure, optimizing increment, striving for policy and making use of opportunity and so on.
