在三网融合中,广电运营商要做的是有线电视网数字化、双向化改造和网络整合;而电信运营商要做的主要是采用光纤入楼、光纤入户。目前的有线电视网络在双向化之后在带宽方面将拥有一定优势,但电信运营商一旦完成FTTx的规模性部署,辅以IPTV、网络视频技术的发展,真正全业务激烈竞争的时代才真正到来。

Integration of telecommunications networks, cable TV networks and the Internet in China has started up. This paper firstly introduces the planning of integration among the Telecom, Cable and Internet, and discusses the status and development of the television broadcast service providers and the telecom operators. Finally it gives a proposal of deploying FTTx with PON to achieve the integration of the three networks.
