略论先秦道家的死亡本质观

On the Essence of Death

儒道两家对于生命的认识有着本质的差异。相对于儒家死亡本质观的道德色彩,道家的死亡本质观则更具自然性的特征。从这个角度看,道家的死亡本质观包含生死命定、生死一体、生死物化这样几层含义。

The understanding in the nature of life is different for Confucian and Taoist. In the Confucian concept, the nature of death indicate a moral appeal, but the essence of death in the Taoist concept presents more natural feature. The essence of death in the Taoist concept means predestiny of life and death, integration of life and death, and materialization of life and death.
