论侗族的群体意识

On the Sense of Community among the Dong

侗族是我国西南的一个少数民族,有着很突出的群体意识。其思想观念、价值取向和行为准则都明显具有群体性。传承至今的侗族群体意识观念,有的适应着当今社会生活的需要,具有优秀的传统文化理念,非常有利于维护集体,促进统一,构建和谐社会,创造安定团结的美好生活,具有保持社会稳定、推动社会发展的社会学价值。同时,也能看到侗族群体意识的局限性,它比较保守,忽视个体的积极进取,不利于个人的发展,社会生活的改革和创新。对于原始落后的群体意识,应当用鼓励竞争、表彰个人发展和发明创造的理念来加以改革。

As a minority nationality in Southwest China, the Dong has a very strong sense of community, which can be found in their beliefs, values and conduction principles. Some of the ideas, with the exceptional traditional cultural philosophy, are adaptable to the needs of present social life and have high sociological values in terms of preserving social stability and promoting social development because they are beneficial to community protection, unity promotion, harmonious social development and happy life construction. Meanwhile, some of the ideas have their own limitations because such conservative ideas are negative to personal progress and development and to the innovations of social life. These backward ideas should be reformed with the encouragement of competitions, personal development and innovations, or they should be even abandoned.
