Smart grid needed the support of intelligent switches and advanced sensor involved low voltage intel- ligent apparatus. Based on smart grid, recent trend of low voltage intelligent apparatus was introduced, including new selective protection technology in final distribution system to ensure source supply continuity and reliability; the energy management of low voltage intelligent circuit breakers ; low voltage switches used in new energy source ; con- dition monitoring of intelligent circuit breakers.
