Name Variants in Change and Social Context Developments

语言哲学中有着命名的理论主要有"摹状词理论"和"历史因果命名理论"两种。社会语境因素对同一事物的初始命名和后续改名作用机制具有同一性,对语言的使用具有社会规约性和过滤器作用。任何社会语境下的命名都包括特有的价值内涵,同一事物在不同历史时期的不同命名由特定的社会语境决定,它的变化同时又折射社会语境的变化。

This paper begins with the analyses on theories of naming.Then from the static and dynamic mode,it is argued that socio-psychological factors play a constant role in naming the same identity in history.Accordingly,the conventionality of language use is stressed and the filtering function of social context on language specified.Finally,the author＇s arguments are presented that under no case will language use be valueless,that name variants in change are actually true reflections on social context developments.
