On March 14,the Yangtze Estuary Deepwater Channel Regulation Project 3 in Shanghai passed the acceptance of the Ministry of Transport.At this point,elite of the national science and technology and the construction of water power brought together completed the country's largest water project which lasted 12 years.The project finally comes to an unprecedented grand momentum and shows new look to the world:two Long Beach each about 50 km long,like the Great Wall cross water lying Yangtze River;length of 92.2 kilometers,bottom width 350-400m,depth of 12.5 meters of deep-water channel.'Open up sand bar,governance the Yangtze River Estuary'is a century-old dream of several generations of people with lofty ideals has finally become a reality.
