对银水牛果果实和嫩茎叶进行营养成分测定与分析的结果表明,银水牛果果实总黄酮含量高达4.02mg/g,维生素C含量208.20 mg/100g,并且富含钾、钙、镁、锌等元素;含18种氨基酸,其中含有人体所必需的8种,总量达8.20%。嫩茎叶粗蛋白含量达16.34%,大于粗饲料中粗蛋白含量指标(15%);粗纤维含量6.34%,远远低于粗饲料中粗纤维含量指标(18%);无氮浸出物高达58.77%,钙磷比5.64。因此,银水牛果进一步开发利用具有很大的潜力。
