Nari People's Concept Structure on Color Terms——Compared with Naxi People's Concept Structure on Color Terms

纳日人颜色词的概念结构有两个维度:⑴彩色/非彩色;⑵单色/杂色。11个基本颜色词被分为非彩色、单色、暗杂色和靓杂色。纳日人与纳西人基本颜色词语义空间的维度相同,反映出他们区别于其他民族的族源一致性。对颜色词的分类也存在明显差异,体现了语言、文化和生活环境对颜色认知的影响。

Using natural classification method, the authors of this article investigated 130 Nari people＇s classification of basic color terms. The results manifested that Nari people＇s concept structure on color terms had two dimensions： （1）colorness/colorlessness; （2）monochrome /mottle. 11 basic color terms were divided into colorlessness, monochrome, dark mottled color and vivid mottled color. Nari people and Naxi people were consistent in their classification of basic color terms, reflecting their consistency on nation＇s origin which is different from others. There were also obvious differences in the classification of color terms which reflect the influences of language, culture and living environment to color cognition.
