After Beijing restarted the selection of drug distribution program,the monopoly position of Beijing Pharmaceutical Group in Beijing has been completely broken.In December 2009,the selection of drug distribution program was promulgated in Beijing.The selection process will determine 10 major pharmaceutical companies as 2009 Beijing pharmaceutical distributors,and,in addition,it will select two companies as alternative distributors.After the reselection of drug distributors in Beijing,the selected final list of 10 distribution companies and two options for distribution companies will cover more than 200 hospitals,more than 2,000 community health service centers and service stations throughout Beijing.
