Poetry as an Important Element in Constructing Campus Culture

中华诗教是一项意义和影响深远的经典诵读教育工程，时势有需求，高层有倡导，民众有期待，作为文化高地的高校更是呼唤诗教活动的深入开展。文章纵述诗教的传统和发展，横论诗教的意义和影响，并对海经院开展诗教作出提议、思考和展望，目的是把中华诗教作为校园文化建设的重要选项。

Appreciation of Chinese poetry is a significant and profound project in accordance with the times, the requirements of the high class, the expectation of people, especially colleges, the transmission base of culture. This thesis describes the tradition and development of poetry teaching, the meaning and the influence of it and then put forward some suggestions, ways of thinking and expectations for Haikou College of Economics to teach peotry, with the purpose of looking at poetry teaching as an important element in constructing campus culture.
