This paper is designed to analyze the living state of the protagonist - Kim from a different angle. Indian culture and British culture have alternately influenced him, which makes him become a go-between of the two cultures and also makes him always live in the embarrassing situation - in the reconciliation and the conflicts between Indian and British cultures. This paper believes that Kim is the description of real life of Rudyard Kipling who is the author of this novel.
