A polarizer is a material that converts an unpolarized or mixed-polarization beam of electromagnetic waves （e.g., light） into a beam with a single polarization state. Polarizers are used in commodity, transportation, national defense and top science ＆ technology. The paper is a study on structural identification for dyes in the oversea advanced polarizer by the spectroscopic techniques, thereby we can get required structural information and learn the development of the polarizer technology.
