In Nabokov＇s novel Pnin,though we do not find a conspicuous death denouement,the shadow of death runs throughout it.Through the description of a series of consciousness of death felt by the hero Pnin,the author brings to light his tragic fate and indicates that he is a failure in his career,love and interpersonal relationship.
