On enhancing the competitiveness of knowledge-intensive service industry in south of Jiangsu Province

苏南地区知识密集型服务业已进入了快速发展的关键时期,对地区经济的发展起到了明显的促进作用,但也存在许多需要加强和改进的地方。本文通过对苏南地区与上海、北京等城市的对比分析,总结出了苏南地区知识密集型服务业的发展优势和存在差距,在此基础上就如何进一步拓宽苏南地区知识密集型服务业的发展空间,提升其竞争实力提出了具体的建议。

The rapid development of knowledge-intensive service industry in southern Jiangsu has played a significant role in regional economic development.However,there is much room for improvement.Based on the comparative analysis on cities in southern Jiangsu Province with Shanghai,Beijing,and other domestic cities of the same kind,the authors summarized advantages and gaps in the development of knowledge-intensive service industry in southern Jiangsu.Furthermore,concrete recommendations were made on how to expand its development space and enhance its competitive capacity.
