When the earthquake in Wenchuan occurred on May 12, 2008, journalists quickly rushed to the scene of the disaster and delivered many an objective on-the-spot report about it in the shortest time possible through television, newspapers, radio, the Internet, mobile phones and other news media. Thanks to the cooperative and prompt interaction between different news media, the speed of news delivery, the scope of coverage and the richness of contents have all been unprecedented. Therefore, it is necessary to summarize the advantages of such a media interaction so that it can serve as a reference when similar events arise.
