国际直接投资、制度与发展中东道国经济增长的关联效应

On the Connection of FDI,Regime and Economic Growth in Developing Host Countries

利用个体固定效应模型和广义最小二乘法的协方差分析法,实证研究了国际直接投资(FDI)、制度与发展中东道国经济增长联系的规律,得出单独的FDI对经济增长的直接和间接效应都不明显,但通过与制度的交互作用,对经济增长产生显著的正效应的研究结论。论文还对东道国制度对经济增长的效应产生的两种实现渠道进行了研究,提出东道国良好的制度安排是FDI产生溢出效应的条件和基础,发展中国家应当重视制度创新,尤其是政治制度的改革,才能从FDI的技术溢出中获取更大收益,实现经济的长期增长。

The paper makes an empirical study on laws of correlation of FDI,regime and economic growth in developing host countries through the individual entity fixed effect model and analysis of covariance estimation of general least square,finding out that single FDI has the weak effect on the economic growth rate directly and indirectly,and the interaction term of FDI with regime affects the augmentation rate significantly.In addition,it deals with the two channels by which the host country＇s institutional functions on economic development,concluding that good institution arrangement is the essential determinant and basis for the beneficial effects of FDI reaped in host countries.Consequently,developing governments need to make innovation in regime,particularly political system,for obtaining benefit from the technological spillovers of FDI so as to promote their economic growth constantly.
