On the Role of the Teaching of College Chinese in the Shaping of College Students' Personality

人格培养是我国素质教育的基本目标之一,也是当前教育现状提出的迫切要求,更是大学语文教学的重要任务之一。《大学语文》,浓缩了中国传统文化的精华,闪烁着哲理与智慧的光芒,是高校对大学生进行人文精神教育,塑造健全人格的重要而有效的途径。

Personality shaping is not only one of the targets of the quality-oriented education, but also an urgent requirement of the status quo of the present education and one of the significant tasks of the teaching of College Chinese. College Chinese is an important and effective means of helping college students to shape a healthy personality, for it a condensed collection of the fine parts of the traditional Chinese culture which is of philosophi- cal wisdom.
