摘要
为减小H.264/AVC编码器中的运动搜索时间并降低计算量,提出一种基于全零检测技术的改进小菱形搜索算法。在搜索中心及周围4个点进行匹配计算,计算过程中插入全零检测,提高搜索速度。与其他几种典型运动搜索算法的比较结果表明,该算法在保证一定峰值性噪比的条件下,能降低运动搜索次数、减少编码时间,适用于背景相对固定或中低运动强度的视频序列。
To decrease the computation and the motion estimation time in a H.264/AVC coding converter, this paper presents a new improved small diamond search algorithm, which is based on the Detection of AII-Zero(DAZ). In the matching computation of the search center and its near four points, DAZ is used to increase the searching rate. The method is compared with several other typical motion search methods. Keeping with certain Peak Signal to Noise Ratio(PSNR) performance, the improved small diamond search method decreases the searching points and shortens the coding thne obviously. The improved small diamond search method fits for the video sequence in a stationary or middle-small motion-intensity background and the application result is good.
