摘要
翡翠与上乘软玉的检测手段受到限制，不便使用仪器，而“看、掂、摸”等传统方法更为适用有效。看其颜色、结构、断口、透明度，掂其比重及致密程度，模之清爽、光洁细腻或油腻般滑润。并述及与相似玉石的肉眼鉴别。
It is limited to distinguish the quality of jade and the firstclass nephrite by using the in strument. Therefore the traditional methods such as ' Observing, Weighting and Feeling' are very useful for the purpose. The color, texture, fracture and translucency of Jade and nephrite can be directly observed. The gravity, dense texture, luster and smoothness can be distin guished by the handy weighting and feeling. The paper also summarizes the distinguished cri teria by the naked examination between jade, nephrite and those similar jade stones
