The quantity and quality of the academic thesis which were on the academic journal determine the academic standards of the journal. According to the statistics and comparative analysis on the academic thesis from the perspective of quantity and quality of the core journal on archive and Library and Information Science published during 2006-2008, we can discover the gap between the core journals on archive and the core journals of brotherhood. The academic level of the core journal on archive should be improved.
