The article deals with the six features of A Dictionary of Translation Studies through the compatibility of compiling principles, the index system of the target terms, the common use and the authoritativeness of the choice of the terms,the monotonicity and the scientificness of the paraphrase of the terms to illustrate the value of the dictionary.
