在近代中国历史舞台上,东至周氏自周馥始,枝繁叶茂、绵延昌盛、人才辈出,19世纪末至20世纪上半期发展出一个庞大的家族企业。本文以周馥为例,通过周馥协助李鸿章创办洋务民用企业,及任山东巡抚和两江总督期间发展民族工商业的考察,探讨了东至周氏家族在发展近代实业方面的贡献。
