“小词”与“词小”辨析

On Discrimination of "xiaoci" and "cixiao"

"小词"与"词小"不属同一范畴。"小词"属形式美学范畴,"词小"属道德美学范畴。"小词"依词体短小而生出,注重的是形式,成为词体文学的专有名词,极少含有贬意;"词小"由词的内容而论,注重的是伦理道德,是时人对词体文学蔑视的表现。二者各有侧重,不能混为一谈。

＂xiaoci＂ and ＂cixiao＂ belong to different categories.The former belongs to style aesthetic,while the later belongs to moral aesthetic.＂Xiaoci＂ lays more stress on the form since it is short and it is a proper term for ci literature and it seldom contains derogatory sense.＂Cixiao＂ lays more stress on ethic in terms of its content and it reflects people＇s distain for ci literature.These two terms have their own focus and cannot be confounded.
