Connotation of Specialty Construction of Higher Vocational Schools and the Strategies

高职院校按职业岗位或岗位群设置专业。高职教育的专业建设是院校发展的核心工作、实现"就业导向"的保证、提高核心竞争力的关键,关系着人才培养的目标、规格和质量。根据社会经济发展需求确定人才培养目标和方案,整合学科和社会资源,深化课程及培养模式改革,优化专业结构,加强校企合作,有效开展专门知识、技能以及行业道德规范的教、学、研、训等活动,保证高职教育质量的不断提高,实现应用型高技能人才培养的可持续发展。

Higher vocational schools should set up specialties according to professional posts and post group. Specialty con- struction is core work for the development of higher vocational education, assurance of implementing employment orientation and key for enhancing core competitiveness, which relate closely to talent cultivation objective, standard and quality. In or- der to assure the enhancement of higher vocational education quality and achieve sustainable development for cultivating high-skilled talents, higher vocational schools should establish talent cultivation objectives and plans, integrate subjects and social resources, deepen curriculum and cultivation model reform, optimize specialty structure, strengthen cooperation of school and enterprise, deploy teaching, learning, research and training activities for special knowledge, skills and industrial morality regulation according to social and economic development demand.
