当代中国网络公共领域的政治功能

The Political Function of China’s Internet Public Sphere

所谓网络公共领域,就是具有独立、理性评论能力的网民以社会公共事务(特别是公共政治事务)为讨论内容,以网络论坛、博客为主要载体形成的一种公共领域。当代中国的网络公共领域主要具有三方面的政治功能:国家与社会之间的协调空间,维护社会稳定的政治参与新路径,推进协商民主的新方式。

Internet public sphere is a theoretical description of the forming process of public opinion. It is a brand new public sphere which has developed from the discussion of social affairs （especially in public affairs） in web forum and biog. At present, China＇ s intemet public sphere has three political functions： to act as the coordination space of state and society, to maintain social stability and political participation and to promote deliberative democracy.
