摘要
娱乐文化产业的定义众说纷纭。娱乐文化产业关注市场经济中的艺术、文化、娱乐及许多其他类型的活动。本文主要考察娱乐文化产业的其中一个方面,即其对经济的影响。之前也有学者探讨过这个问题,而本文笔者从官方数据出发,指出1995年娱乐文化产业为美国带来了2510亿美元的经济效益,而到2004年时,这一数字已经达到5650亿美元。
The definition of popular culture is kaleidoscopic. It concerns the arts, culture, and entertainment in a market-based economy but encompasses a wide variety of other activities as well. The purpose of this article is to focus on one aspect of popular culture, its impact on the economy. This issue has been researched before. Using government data, Cusic identified the popular culture economy as having a USS251 billion impact on the U.S. economy in 1995 and rose up to USS565 billion in 2004.
