＂March 8＂ Commemoration was an important aspect of women＇s liberation,social liberation and national liberation in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region during the Yan＇an period.Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China,this com-memoration made effective linkages to the Women＇s Movement and maximized its effects through breakthroughs in both the style and the content of its composing events.It became not only an accelerator of the liberation of women but also a vanguard in promoting women＇s participation in the building of the Border region.
