A General Survey of the Study on the Into-causative

文章在综述国外语言学家对into-致使构式研究的基础上,指出:作为对传统的单纯注重频率的语料库研究方法的一种更新,搭配构式分析研究构式中互为变化的共现词素的方法是一种重要的补充,并以实例解释这一方法。同时,该方法对于汉语构式的研究也有一定的借鉴作用。

The article presents a general survey of the study on the into-causative in international linguistics. It notes that the collo- structional analysis used in studying covarying collexemes in the into-causative represents a methodological innovation compared with the traditional corpus study which puts much emphasis on the raw frequency of lexical items. Case studies are used to illustrate the innovative method. The method also has some implications on the study of Chinese constructions.
