从翻译的不确定性看译者主体性

Reflection on Translator’s Subjectivity from Quine’s Indeterminacy of Meaning

蒯因是二战后美国最负盛名的哲学家之一,也是继罗素和维特根斯坦之后影响最大的哲学家。他有关翻译不确定性的理论引起学界很大的反响,为原本复杂的翻译现象添加了更多的神秘色彩。多年来,国内外虽然不断有学者从不同角度探讨这一问题,但是结果却差强人意。本文尝试另辟蹊径,从人与世界的关系出发,探讨译者在具有不确定性翻译现象中的主体性问题。

Since the death of Wittgenstein and Russell, the living philosopher who was commanded the greatest influence among his colleagues, at least in the English-speaking world, is the American, Willard Van Orman Quine. This thesis tries to analyze the changing of language＇ s position, discuss the translator＇ s subject as a special participant in language activity, and finally provide some reference to the study of the ontology of language.
