马克思、恩格斯著作在中国的翻译,已经历百余年时间。细致地回顾这段历史,探讨翻译过程中的技术标准,并从政治的角度予以考究,对我们全面客观地把握马克思主义经典著作在中国的传播和接受,把握马克思、恩格斯的"中国形象"及其变迁,具有基础性的意义和作用。这一方面促使我们注意到翻译是马克思主义得以中国化的一般性前提,另一方面又提示我们,翻译作为一种双向的话语交际过程,在很大程度上影响到国人对马克思主义的理解和接受。透过历史和技术的镜像,汉译马克思归根结底是一个政治的过程。

The works of Marx and Engels have been translated into Chinese for over a hundred years,it is essential to grasp the classic works of Marxism which have been propagated and accepted in China comprehensively and objectively,and the Chinese figures of Marx and Engels and their changes.So we should review this part of history carefully and investigate the technical standards during translation in the perspective of politics.On the one hand,it makes us to realize that translation is the general premise of the sinicization of Marxism,on the other hand,it also points out that,as a bidirectional process of communication with discourse,translation influences the Chinese people to understand and accept Marxism at a large extent.In a word,translating Marx into Chinese is a political process through history and technical mirror.
