Genetic Algorithms is actually a very attractive field in the world.It lies in search procedures that are based on the mechanics of genetics and natural selection。These procedures converge quickly to optimal solutions.This paper presents the principle and their applications in mining engineering of genetic algorithms,concludes that genetic algorithms is a powerful approach to be applied to complex optimization problems in mining engineering.
