Alibaba Group positioned 2010 as the first year to carry out joint deve-lopment. The orientation began from its launch of the 'Big Taobao'strategy in 2008, the core of which was to build an e-commerce ecosystem and achieve common prosperity. Around this strategy, the company launched 'Taobao Partner Program' last year to convene all e-commerce outsourcing provider to provide personal products and services to Taobao sellers as well as small and medium enterprises. As an important component of the 'Big Taobao' strategy, Alibaba joined the logistics industry. March 29, 2010, Alibaba Group announced in Beijing, by the way of cash shares, it would make strategic investments in Stars Express, a new private express company. Although both sides declined to disclose the amount of Alibaba's investment and the proportion of co-ownership details, but Zhang Yong, Chief Financial Officer of Taobao disclosed the cooperation is based on the completion of the shares in cash; and Chen Ping, chairman of the Stars Express expressed he would keep an absolute controlling stake in the company before it is listed.
