The communication between the college librarians and readers plays an important role in clearing the air, promoting the exchange,providing accurate and efficient literature information services for readers, and opening a more easy and convenient entrance for readers to get the literature information they need. This paper introduces the main approaches of the communications between college librarians and readers, makes the analysis on some barriers of the communication between college librarians and readers, and discusses the ways for achieving effective communication.
