Approaches to Improve the Quality of Undergraduate Thesis

论述了当前本科毕业论文存在的问题,分析了造成其问题的主要原因是管理制度不健全、教师指导不到位、学生重视程度不够、学生综合能力不强、毕业论文的写作时间不足等,提出了高校提高毕业论文质量的主要途径是完善和改进毕业论文管理制度、选派优秀的指导教师、进行科学选题、提高学生综合能力、把毕业论文选题时间前移至大三上学期。

The existing problems of the current undergraduate thesis are expounded and the main reasons caused are analyzed： incomplete management system, non-specific teachers＇ guides, not enough emphasis of the students, weak comprehensive abilities of students, lack of time and so on. The main approaches to improve the quality ot undergraduate thesis are put forward： refining and improving thesis management system, assigning excellent instructors, selecting topics scientifically, improving comprehensive abilities of students and advancing the time ot choosing thesis topics to the first semester of junior.
