The literatureas on the cuprous catalyzed additions of polyhalogenated compounds to olefins are critically reviewed. This kinds of reactions are featured of the cheap materials, high recovery and exclusive product. They can be applied to the synthesis of pesticide intermediates, which become a simple way for the synthesis of some organics on the commercial and laboratorial scale.
