Using Resources Feature in Sakai to Create Personal Academic Resources Management System

利用Sakai教学平台中的资源工具可检索、管理和共享学术资源,该工具提供搜索Google学术、新建引文、导入引文等三种基本方式在Sakai系统中构建个人资源/引文库。利用Sakaibrary项目成果,通过简单的XML语言,就可调用图书馆元搜索引擎,检索馆藏资源,实现与图书馆订购资源的整合。可针对课程站点、项目站点、资源文件夹和每一条资源设置不同的资源维护和共享权限,并可选择多种途径实现资源的全文永久访问。

This paper introduces how to use the resources feature in Sakai to search, manage, and share academic resources. There are mainly three basic tools （search google scholar, create new citation, and import citations） that can be used to create personal re- courses/citations database. Using online tools （actually a simple XML file） developed by Sakaibrary project will make it easier for students and faculty to integrate library electronic resources in their teaching and learning. There are multiple ways to create permanent links to full-text and to enable the permission-based resources sharing.
