The petroleum is a kind of Non-renewable energy resources.The store status of Crude Oil in oil pool and the influencing factor of petroleum extraction were introduced.The formation mechanism and the influencing factor such as alkali,surfactant（e.g.sulfonate）,salinity and polymer were summarized.Then the theory basis for reducing the interfacial tension effectively was provided.
