The concept, target and value standard of green architecture are introduced. Various principles should be followed in the application of green architecture are elaborated. At the same time the development of green architecture is discussed and summarized. Author points out that green architecture is important means to upgrade living conditions and promote the development of economy, which plays important roles in promoting the sustainable development of society.
