The Initial System & Its Evolution of Sinon(Hongkong)Hakka Dialect in the Mid-19th Century

笔者利用1866年巴色会传教士所编客家话罗马字《马太福音》研究了一百五十年前的新安(今香港)客家方言语音及其流变情况。本文讨论了声母系统及其演变。

With the Gospel of Matthew in Hakka dialect（Romanized）translated by the Basel missionaries in 1866,The author probes into the phonology of Sinon（Hong Kong）Hakka dialect in the Mid-19th Century .its later changes.This paper is the first part to discuss about the inital system and its evolution.
