摘要
语言与文化密不可分,文化教学作为新课程五大目标之一,是外语教学中不可缺少的组成部分。本研究采用实验研究法,运用问卷、访谈、课堂观察和测试等多种手段,调查了高中英语教学中以"文化胶囊"的形式进行英语文化传输对英语教学的作用。来自江西省某重点高中高一年级两个重点班的106名学生参加了实验。通过对问卷调查等的比较分析发现:文化胶囊的运用,增强了学生的英语文化意识,激发了学生内在的学习动机和学习兴趣。与此同时,实验结果表明:文化胶囊的运用有利于学生英语成绩的提高。
The teaching of culture is regarded as a means of achieving the goals of English language education based on the New Curriculum.This study attempts to explore the effects of English culture transmission in senior English language teaching(ELT) in forms of passages,pictures and the like(called "culture capsules" in the study).An experimental research is conducted with 106 subjects in a key senior high school in Jiangxi Province — 52 in a controlled class(CC) and another 54 in an experimental class(EC) involved.The analysis of the result indicates that ELT with culture capsules has positive effects on teaching and learning in senior high schools.
