Reflection on Characteristic Construction of "Life-Oriented Moral Education" in Rugao Middle School

德育回归生命,是对学生主体的认可,是对生命的尊崇。百年名校如皋中学坚持以"崇实求是"的办学理念,切实加强以"生命化德育"特色的学校文化建设,形成了"尊崇生命"、"彰显个性"以及"生命与德育相融合"的生命化德育的实践理性与经验。

Moral education returns to life, which indicates recognition of the subject of students, and also respect for life. Rugao Middle School, famous for its long history, adheres to the school- running belief of ＂admiring truth and seeking facts＂. Also, it earnestly enhances school cultural construction with a feature of ＂life-oriented moral education＂. As a result, such practice and experience come into being as ＂respecting life＂, ＂exhibiting personality＂ and ＂combining life with moral education＂.
